Owners and Bloor West Village locals Gord and Diana Ross have carefully curated their store to include the perfect collection of vintage, antique, and up-cycled furniture. From bar carts to fine china, the store adds new pieces each week, so no visit feels the same.

Flowers: Oleander Flowers – 2902 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X 1B5

With their custom bouquets, arrangements, and home planter services, Oleander has been a staple in the Kingsway neighbourhood since 2005. Owner and florist Jennifer Brennan and her team work closely to source from local providers to ensure each arrangement is created with only the finest flowers. In 2017, Oleander expanded its doors to include a home décor and gift shop. From candles to bar accessories, it’s the perfect place to buy a last-minute birthday or hostess gift.

Fashion: Carriage Trade – 2984 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X 1B9

A few minutes walk from Oleander, Carriage Trade is one of the oldest women’s boutiques in the neighbourhood and host to high-end brands like Marcain, Parker, Rebecca Minkoff and Smythe. In a recent expansion, owner Nori Mirza-Kane added a downstairs shopping area which features brands that appeal to a more price sensitive shopper. Revamp your fall wardrobe while you can.

Food: Magoos – 4243 Dundas St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X 1Y3

It’s both a blessing and a curse one of Toronto’s best burger spots has been our neighbour for over 40 years! Magoos is a favourite amongst west-end foodies and for their signature dishes like the “Goo Goo Burger.” And if the drive is too far, have no fear, you can find them on Skip the Dishes.
