Response to COVID-19

Thoughtfulness is in our fabric - at Gibson’s, the health and well-being of our customers and employees is a top priority. On March 24, 2020 the Ontario Government classified dry cleaners, laundromats, and laundry service providers as essential businesses. We are proud to service the cleaning needs of EMS workers, Retirement Homes, and Households. We want to provide you as much information as possible.

According to Harvard Health, there is currently no evidence that COVID-19 can be transmitted from soft surfaces like fabric or carpet to humans.

Gibson's cleaning agents and practices are designed to kill viruses such as the common cold and flu. While scientific information is still developing, we have no reason to believe that our processes are ineffective against COVID-19

We are following the Government of Canada and WHO for facts as they become available. We are ensuring all members of our teams are educated on symptoms and are well-informed on prevention best practices.

We've enhanced our already stringent cleaning practices which include social distancing in our facility, wearing gloves, disinfecting and cleaning surfaces regularly, and offering no contact drop off and pick up.
